Ordering / purchasing

  • 1. First thing to do is deciding what style and colour you would like to order. If you need a bit of help choosing what’s right for you, I’ll be happy to offer personalized advice.
    Send me a message through our Contact page and I’ll get back to you.

    2. Then, purchase the listing by clicking on the green ‘Add to Cart’ button and following the steps through checkout.

    3. After that, you will need to take your measurements. Taking them is easy, you just need to carefully follow the instructions on our detailed ‘Taking your measurements’ page.
    In case you have any doubts just let us know, we’ll be happy to help.

    4.  We will check your measurements, and will ask you to retake any of them that doesn’t make sense.

    5. Then your garment will be on production.

    6. We will ship your order and will send your tracking number. And you will receive and enjoy your gorgeus Guyé outfit within a few days or weeks!

  • It currently takes 6-7 weeks to complete an order from the day it is placed.

    If you need yours to ship sooner than in 6 weeks, please let us know. We can have it made in as little as 4 weeks if you have a given deadline.

    If you need your order to be finished in less than 4 weeks, please contact us too (before placing your order). We may be able to rush it, but our rush fee is 30€ (+VAT) per order.

  • Once all of your measurements are checked and validated, your outfit will be on production.

    Now it’s time for us to buy the materials, prepare your custom patterns and start making your outfit. Your garment will be individually cut, sewn and finished, with care and expertise, to make sure you’ll love wearing your Guyé outfit.

Shipping

  • Is 6 weeks at the moment (04/2017). If that meets your deadline, you can place your order straight away. (Please check our shipping methods and delivery times below).

    If you think the timing can be tight, please convo us.

  • 1). To SPAIN:

    Default shipping method is Courier.
    It arrives in 24h

    2). To EUROPE:

     – Up to 1kg:

    Default shipping method is Correos tracked.
    It arrives in about 1 week (but shipping time is not guaranteed)

    You can upgrade to Courier shipping at checkout.
    Courier shipping in Europe arrives in 3 working days guaranteed.

     – More than 1kg:

    Default shipping method is Courier.
    It arrives in 3 working days guaranteed.

    3). To USA:

    Default shipping method is Correos tracked.
    It arrives in about two weeks, but it can sometimes be 10 days or even up to three weeks. Shipping time is not guaranteed.

    You can upgrade to Courier shipping at checkout.
    Courier shipping to USA arrives in 4-5 working days.


    4). REST OF THE WORLD:

    Default shipping method is Correos tracked.
    It arrives in about two weeks, but it can sometimes be 7 days or even up to three weeks. Shipping time is not guaranteed.

    You can upgrade to Courier shipping at checkout.
    Courier shipping arrives in 5-6 working days.

  • You can always upgrade to a faster Courier shipping.
    There are 24h options for Europe and 48h for the rest of the world

    These options are available upon request.

  • We don’t ship our garments insured by default, but shipping insurance is available upon request.

    If you wish to insure your shipment, please let us know and we’ll give you a quote.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and depend on the weight and volume of your order, the country of destination, and the shipping method chosen.

    We do not charge any hidden fees under the shipping cost: you are paying the actual shipping cost, plus 1€ for the cost of the box and wrapping materials.

  • All and each of the packages we ship have a tracking number.

    If your package is shipped via Correos (public postal service), we’ll send you an email with the tracking information for your order.

    If your package is shipped via Courier, you will also receive an email from the Courier company with the tracking information for your order.

  • If you are purchasing multiple items we will of course combine the shipping costs. Sometimes the system doesn’t calculate that correctly, but we’ll refund any shipping excess of more than 1€.

  • International buyers are responsible for any customs charges they may receive. In case of doubt, please check with your country customs agency before purchasing.

    Customs are beyond our control and therefore we cannot predict whether a package will have or have not to pay any customs fees, nor what amount in case it does.

    All packages that ship outside of the UE need to have a customs invoice attached.
    Unfortunately, we CANNOT state a false items price on your customs invoice.

  • We DO NOT charge any handling or hidden fees under the shipping cost.
    They are only the actual shipping cost, plus 1€ for the cost of the box and wrapping materials.

The Studio

  • Yes, we have our Studio in Barcelona, Spain.
    This is our heaquarters and it includes the Atelier, the Office and the Workshop.

  • Of course! We’ll be very happy to have you at our studio.

    Please let me know a few days in advance what day/time (aprox.) you’ll visit, as I attend customers by appointment. Most of my customers are online so it will be likely that you can come at any time you like to, but I don’t want you to have to wait if it happens to be anybody else here already.

Payments

  • Accepted payment methods are Paypal, most credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

    Credit or debit card payments are made through a secure payment gateway by Paypal, wich is SSL encripted and complies with the highest security worldwide standards.

    We do not have access to nor store your credit card data on our servers.

  • INSTALMENT PAYMENTS at no extra cost are available on orders of 250+€.
    Simply choose ‘other’ payment option at checkout and wait for our Paypal invoice.

    We will send you a Paypal invoice to the email address you use at checkout.
    That invoice will be for the full amount of your order, but you will be able to pay it in instalments until it is paid in full (that’s an awesome Paypal feature!).

    Your order will ship with your last instalment payment.

    Please bear in mind that your order will not be formally placed and so your garments won’t be in our production schedule until -at least- the first instalment payment is made.

Refund policy

    There are no refunds on made to order garments as they were made to fit only you.

    TAKING YOUR MEASUREMENTS

    Our ‘how to take your measurements’ page is very comprehensive, but if you still have any questions, please ask (asking is free!). 🙂

    When you submit your measurements we will check them to see if they seem off.

    So they are double-checked.

    FITTING ISSUES

    Even though we take care in making every garment as accurate to the measurements as possible, sometimes there are fitting issues on the first garment a customer orders, specially when it’s a jumpsuit.

    Other garments fit perfect  99% of the time (and that 1% are only very minor width adjustments, and usually because the person gained or losed weight).

    But about 5% of the jumpsuits need adjustments when they are ordered for the first time, because they are the most difficult garments to fit and we made them without any fittings.

    On those cases when the jumpsuit doesn’t fit perfect from the start, we need to:

    1.) First, determine what fitting issues need to be solved, by making a fitting over pictures or over skype.

    2.) And once we know those fitting issues, we can do two different things to solve them:

        a) Either the customer has the garment locally altered

        b) Or she ships the garment to us, we alter it, and we ship it back to her.

    Choosing one option or the other will depend not only on your personal preference or on money reasons, but also on the kind of alteration required. If it’s too complicated it’s better that we take care of it, while if it’s an easy one it can be made by any local seamstress.

    3.) And finally, we need to update your records and patterns so they are ready for your next order to fit perfect from the start.

    If the reason for the garment not fitting is because of the customer (she took her measurements wrong, or she gained or lost weight without letting us know), the cost of the alteration (and the shippin costs back and forth,  in case we are doing the alteration) is on her.

    If the reason for the garment not fitting is because of us, the cost of the alteration is on us, but the shipping costs back and forth will still be on her.

    PLEASE let us know if you gain or loose weight since the time you placed your order, as soon as you notice it.

  • All sales are final.

    If you have any doubts or questions about a piece,  please ask clear concise questions about the item before purchasing. I’m happy to answer questions, take additional photos and/or measurements.

    I always list my items with truth and accuracy. If I have left something out please ask me.

    If there is any issue with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of receiving it.

    Exchanges or refunds are not offered for fit issues. Please make sure to check your measurements carefully before purchasing.
    The best way to ensure a correct fit is to check your own measurements against the measurements listed.

    Exchanges or refunds are not offered for colour issues. Even if we take the utmost care in showing accurate colours on our listings, each screen displays colours differently.

    In the rare event that an exchange is granted, buyer is responsible for return shipping and is required to purchase delivery confirmation. Shipping is non-refundable. Buyer is also responsible for the shipping fees of the item(s) ordered in exchange. Garment must be returned within 7 days, unworn and in the same condition as sent, with our store tag still attached.

    In the rare event a refund is granted, a 20% re-stocking fee will be applied.

Our garments

  • Our handpainted garments can all be handwashed in lukewarm water and mild soap, best turned inside out, and trying to avoid much rubbing.

    Paint is heatset and it won’t come off easily (we have tested it ourselves and paint didn’t come off at all), but these washing tips will help maintain your handpainted garments in like new condition for as long as possible.
